Dental prostheses are a general name given to all artificial materials made to correct aesthetic, speech and chewing deficiencies that occur in tooth deficiencies.
In smile design, the aesthetics of the teeth, gums and lips and their relations with each other are evaluated by considering the entire facial area. It is the method that is made without cutting the teeth, only by thinning a very small amount from the front surfaces and in which the healthy tooth tissue is lost the least. Porcelain dental laminates are adhered to this thinned area. Laminas have advantages over other restorations in terms of health and aesthetics. It is used in joining split teeth (diastema closure), correction of small tooth crowding, restoration of broken teeth, correction of discolored and deformed old fillings, and smile design.
