Porcelain dental laminates are adhered to this thinned area. Laminas have advantages over other restorations in terms of health and aesthetics. It is used in joining split teeth (diastema closure), correction of small tooth crowding, restoration of broken teeth, correction of discolored and deformed old fillings, and smile design.
